…and then there were SIX!

Pray for us as we are learning how to adjust to being a family of SIX. Our foster daughter’s baby sister came to live with our family (for as short or as long as God intends!) at just 1 week old on August 12th. It’s hard to believe that it has already been over a month since I picked her up at the hospital.

Four kids under 2.5yrs old is fun but it’s also *really hard*. It’s overwhelming and exhausting. It’s sanctifying. As this parenting journey continually shows me my weakness, sin and need of grace, it forces me to turn to a God who is holy and good and full of grace for the strength I need to handle each day. I’m thankful for new mercies every morning. Great is His faithfulness!

Taken at my sister’s wedding on Sunday!
