After 304 days in the hospital – and on his tenth month birthday – our Calvin is finally home! We couldn’t be more thrilled, we can’t wipe the smiles off our faces, and to have all five of us together is absolutely surreal.
In the words of our foster-to-adopt daughter (21mo): “Calman! Calman’s home!” 💓
God has been good every step of this journey. Even in the times we were told Calvin wouldn’t make it through the day or he wouldn’t be coming home, the Lord gave us a peace that passes all understanding. The Lord has proven Himself faithful time and time again. He is *always* good.
