We’ve been counting down on this sign since Day 28 and are so excited that “Home Day” is almost here! Our foster-to-adopt daughter and I have a little dance party every time we lower the number!
Calvin is having his port and G-tube surgery today at 12:30pm. As long as his recovery goes well over the weekend, he’ll be coming home on Monday, though he could potentially need an extra night at the hospital. We’ll see how he does.
We have a busy day tomorrow (Friday) with VON, ProResp and others coming to set up Calvin’s equipment and see our home. The reality of his discharge is seeing in more every single day! We are so excited!
