Even though a hospital is never a place you would choose to be, this has been one of the most exciting weeks of our twin journey so far! Finally having the opportunity to do “twins-y” things we have all waited so long to do – like simply napping or laying in bed together – Calvin and Katharina experienced this week! Even when one babe pooped and I had to check two diapers to see who had the dirty one… Things that have been eight months in the waiting and I can’t wipe the smile off my face. 😊

God has been good and continues to be good and we are oh so grateful. This week would have looked very different if Calvin was still requiring a ventilator so I am overjoyed at how the Lord has sustained him and is working daily miracles in Calvin’s life.
My heart is exploding!! 
I think Calvin is realizing he’s in this for the long haul and he will be sharing his space more often!
Katharina is discharged so we are heading home. We’re looking forward to bringing the girls for visits now that Calvin is no longer in PCCU and spending more time together as a family. 💕
