Calvin is doing wonderfully! He remains off the ventilator, oxygenating well and was sleeping soundly when I left the hospital tonight. He needed a dose of morphine before shift change but is otherwise great.
Both babes will be on Tylenol and Advil around the clock for the first bit to help with pain, as well as IV fluids for the first 24-48hrs before beginning feeds through their new tubes. They are receiving all meds through their tubes but nothing else at this point.
Thank you again for your continued prayers for our family. One *special* prayer request: that when Calvin moves back to the paeds floor, the twins could be in the same room for the remainder of Katharina’s hospital stay.
